We offer our Tweenies (2-3yrs) additional 15hr free early learning for children age three year olds before 30 July 2012! We offer children an additional half of term (5 weeks) education over the summer to prepare them for our pre-school. Our Tweenies Room is led by Mandy Finnigan a very passionate practitioner with years of experienced and very qualified within the early years.
We have been award 'good with outstanding features' by Ofsted! Our Tweenies room plan to provide a fun stimulating environment “providing children with experiences and support which will help them to develop a positive sense of themselves”. Our Tweenies Room will do just that! With defined areas planned efficiently around each aspect of the EYFS, our highly qualified staff are committed to ensure that we meet each child’s individual needs, through observing children and by making notes when necessary practitioners can make professional judgements about children’s achievements and decide on the next steps in learning.
We work alongside professional agencies (Pre-School Learning Aliance, ICAN, Speech & Language, NHS Toothcare) to provide the best to our children. We also exchange information with parent about how their child is progressing. Children have access to learning both inside and outside as part of their curriculum.
We have achieved an Early Years award in promoting healthy eating with children. Each day our children have breakfast and snack which is prepared by our chef each day at no additional charge. We have been awared 5* by the food Standards Agency. We encourage children to access their food by themselves as they grow bigger and stronger.
Focused Activities! Children experience adult focused led activities where they are encouraged to select their own resources independently which will promote skills for later life, all activities are at child’s educational level so that they can select easily.
