We have our very own teacher who supports and prepares the children ready for school. As a leading childcare provider within Halton, we are fully committed to working towards the EYFS and the learning outcomes specified and reinforced by OFSTED. This means that your child will follow an individual learning programme as shown in the EYFS section.

Our focus remains on children learning through creativity and play, using holistic and natural materials. We feel it is important for children to be in regular contact with trees, planets, sand, soil and water etc... We also teach and emphasise throughout the nursery the value of care and concern for others, respect for cultural diversity and for ourselves.

Early learners understand that children require constant stimulation to keep them occupied and help them learn. Our pre-school programme includes gardening, cookery and dancing among the extras activities available. Children learn best by experience, so there are trips and days out too usually linked to a specific topic. Outings may include visits to the local parks, the zoo, the fire station etc...
