The Nursery Team
At the Early Learners Nursery, we choose our staff for their ability to provide the optimum care and dedication to your child to the exacting standard you would expect as a parent. All staff are CRB checked upon joining the Company. (CRB = Criminal Records Bureau). Our employees receive a comprehensive induction programme of training as they start their career with us. Their induction covers subjects such as Paediatric First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene and the extensive Base Room Practices to familiarise themselves with our standards and procedures. The Early Learners Nursery offers a wide range of training courses available within the Industry, with an approved training scheme covering NVQ, plus many more schemes to ensure that we meet their career development expectations.
Staff ratios are 1:3 for 0-2 year olds, 1:4 for 2-3 year olds and 1:8 for 3-5 year olds.
Our Teachers: 1:13 for 3-5 year olds.

Summary of job
To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, intellectual care and a high quality education for children following the Statutory Framework and Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage within the framework of the Early Learners policies, practices and procedures in a stimulating and friendly environment, that is above all physically and emotionally secure. To work as a key-person and as part of the Early Learners team under the direction of Early Learners management to provide a safe, high quality education and care for children of all ages; to fulfil legal and statutory requirements; to contribute to and implement Early Learners policies.
